Hunza Valley
Hunza valley is a beautiful valley situated in the North of Pakistan in Gilgit Baltistan Province. Gilgit Baltistan is the 5th province of Pakistan. Gilgit Baltistan has 10 districts. Hunza is one of them.
On one hour drive from Gilgit city, you enter in Hunza district. Hunza is divided into three parts, Lower Hunza, Central Hunza and Upper Hunza (Gojal).
Lower Hunza:
Lower Hunza has some villages i.e. Hussainabad, Mayun, Khanabad, Nasirbabad, Murtazabad and Hassanabad.
Lower Hunza starts when you come from the Gilgit side. These areas are famous for some Fruits like Cherry, Grapes etc.
Central Hunza:
After Lower Hunza, you Enter central Hunza, which includes villages like Aliabad, Karimabad, Altit, Hyderabad. Most of the big markets, shops and other Hotels are present in Central Hunza. In Aliabad you can get any transport for travelling to Gilgit or Upper Hunza (Gojal).
Apart from that, there is a place known as Duiker, which is situated at the top of Central Hunza, from this place there is a stunning view of Hunza and Nagar District.
Upper Hunza (Gojal):
After that, we have Upper Hunza which is called Gojal Valley. Gojal valley is its own beauty and speciality.
Most of the visiting places, mountains, glaciers and other landscapes are present in here. Gojal valley has more than 25 villages like Passu, Shimshal, Khyber, Gulmit, Shishkat, Chipursan etc.
Each of these villages has its own beauty and specialities. E.g. Passu is famous for its mountains like Passu Cones etc, and Glaciers like Batura Glacier and Passu Glacier. And many other things.
Shishkat village is famous for Attabad lake.
